Grid-connected photovoltaic systems

These systems put all the power produced into the grid.

They are industrial type systems that are usually set up in rural areas (solar farms) or on large warehouse roofs in industrial estates, car parks and shopping centres.

Solar Farms:

The power generated by these systems is injected into the grid and you get paid for each kilowatt produced.

At the moment there is no type of regulated rate or tariff for these systems, so the price charged per kilowatt injected into the grid is the price set by the market every day.
